Can i Buy a Property in Turkey ?

If you are reading this, you obviously are curious to know if yes or not you can actually buy a property in any town of Turkey. The answer is actually: most probably yes!

Prior to 2012, Turkish laws regarding foreigners ownership were quite strict, and mostly based on reciprocity, meaning that if a Turkish citizen can legally buy a property in your country, you would also be able to buy a property in Turkey. However, in 2012 new laws were implemented making the process easier for citizens of over 120 countries to acquire a property in Turkey.
